On 6 October 2025 (Monday), Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva, together with a team of experts from the Institution, will visit the city of Yambol.

Starting at 2:00 p.m., at the invitation of the Mayor of Tundzha Municipality Stancho Stavrev, a meeting with the local community is to be be held in the municipality building (1 Osvobozhdenie Square) to discuss water supply issues in the area.

The discussion will focus on: "The state and prospects of water supply and sewerage infrastructure – joint actions for sustainable water resource management."

The reason for the meeting is the frequent breakdowns in the obsolete water supply network and the delayed repairs, which lead to prolonged interruptions in the water supply and growing discontent among residents.
