Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva met today with Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov. The focus of the conversation was the signal submitted by the Ombudsman about violence against children in the social-pedagogical boarding school in the village of Varnentsi, Tutrakan municipality, on the grounds of which the District Prosecutor's Office-Silistra has initiated pre-trial proceedings.

Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva met today with Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov. The focus of the conversation was the signal submitted by the Ombudsman about violence against children in the social-pedagogical boarding school in the village of Varnentsi, Tutrakan municipality, on the grounds of which the District Prosecutor's Office-Silistra has initiated pre-trial proceedings.

The two discussed the effective protection of civil rights, including the rights of children and the elderly, as well as the fight against and prevention of domestic violence.
