Dozens of citizens visited today the office of Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva to seek interference and remedy for their violated rights.

Most of the people brought complaints to report violation of rights related to decisions of the Territorial Expert Medical Boards (TEMBs), access to healthcare, limitations to aids they need, including refusals by the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) to pay for them.

The Ombudsman heard what citizens reported, offered advice and made a commitment to interfere in cases of poor administrative service.

In September, the Ombudsman begins to open short-term away offices in a number of smaller populated areas and the schedule will be uploaded on the website of the Institution.
