Deputy Ombudsman Elena Cherneva-Markova and a team of experts from the institution of the National Ombudsman will meet tomorrow, 7 December 2023, 13.00 hrs., at Toundzha Municipality Headquarters, Yambol, 1 Osvobozhdenie Sq., with mayors, mayor delegates, headmasters of schools, kindergartens and social centers.

The meeting is in response to the numerous reports about frequent accidents and power cuts in the area and the resulting justified indignation of the local people from dozens of villages provoked by power cuts, losses suffered and damaged electrical appliances. The meeting is upon the initiative of Stancho Stavrev, Mayor of Toundzha, and will be attended by Regional Governor Bilyana Kavaldjieva.

Later in the day, starting at 14.00 hrs., at the Regional Administration Headquarters – 18, Georges Papazov St., another team of the Ombudsman will advise citizens of Yambol and the Region within the framework of the away reception office.
