At a formal ceremony in Hall 6 of the National Palace of Culture, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Teach for Bulgaria Foundation, Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva congratulated the organization and expressed the institution's readiness to be its partner in the mission for a more equitable and sustainable educational environment.

"Let us all continue to build a more equitable and sustainable educational environment in Bulgaria. You are proving that change is possible when we work together, when we are patient, and when we do not lose hope," Delcheva emphasized.

The Ombudsman added that success comes quickly when people put their knowledge, experience, and heart into their work, and called on the foundation's team: "Continue to inspire and promote the right to education for every child in Bulgaria."

The event was attended by representatives of educational institutions, businesses, trade unions, members of parliament, teachers, and alumni of the foundation's programmes, who shared their personal journeys and their conviction that every child deserves accessible, quality education.

The Teach for Bulgaria Foundation has been operating since 2010 with a mission to improve the quality of education in Bulgaria by training and supporting teachers and school teams. Over the past 15 years, the organization has built sustainable partnerships with over 140 schools in 20 regions of the country to ensure that every child has equal access to quality education, regardless of where they live, which school they attend, or their family's financial situation.
