On 12 May 2026 (Tuesday) at 11:00 a.m. at the Sofia Pensioners' Club located at 72 Dimitar Petkov Blvd., Entrance V, 1st Floor, Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva will meet with elderly people and together they will launch the “Life and Health” campaign, supported by specialists from the Ramus Laboratory.

The initiative focuses on the importance of prevention as a key factor in reducing chronic non-communicable diseases, including cardiovascular and oncological diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and diabetes.

The focus will be on timely testing and early diagnosis, which enable more effective treatment, better control over one’s health, and a higher quality of life.

During the meeting, citizens will be able to ask any questions related to income, high prices, access to health care, and issues with procedures before the TELK and NELK, and will receive advice from the Ombudsman and experts from the Institution.
