Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva held a working meeting with the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Bulgaria, H.E. Pierre Hagmann. The discussion focused on opportunities for closer cooperation in protecting citizens' rights and exchanging good practices.

The Ombudsman presented the main priorities of the Institution – support for vulnerable groups, strengthening mechanisms for the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, the elderly and children, as well as the introduction of more accessible services for citizens.

The two sides discussed the potential for exchanging expertise in the areas of juvenile justice, social policies, and modern services aimed at more effectively safeguarding of fundamental rights.
